Clomifene citrate (Citracal) is a progestin drug that is used to prevent pregnancy in women who have not yet conceived. It works by preventing ovulation and thickening cervical mucus. It is taken orally once daily at any time of day.

Clomifen citrate is a synthetic derivative of clomiphene citrate. It is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). SERMs are drugs that act directly upon the body’s hormone receptors, instead of mimicking them. In doing so, they block the effects of estrogens in the body.
3. When should I take Clomifene Citrato?
You should start taking Clomifene Citrates 2 weeks before conception and continue until 12 days after conception. You should stop taking it at least 4 weeks before trying to get pregnant again.
4. Side Effects of Clomifene Citraat
The side effects of Clomifene citrate may include headache, nausea, breast tenderness, weight gain, bloating, depression, mood swings, and vaginal bleeding.

The recommended dose of Clomifene is 50 mg per day.

Clomifene is used to treat infertility in women who have had difficulty conceiving due to low levels of estrogen. It is also used to help regulate menstrual cycles in women who suffer from irregular menstruation.
